Summary

In Project Operations, a project is defined as a structured undertaking designed to achieve a specific outcome, whether it’s delivering a service, producing a product, or accomplishing a result. Projects are comprised of various tasks, resources, and costs, and they are tracked for their financial and operational impact. Projects can be either internal or customer-facing, depending on whether a customer is specified.

Field level functional description

• FOProjectManager: The name or identifier of the Finance and Operations project manager responsible for the project.
• msdyn_subject: The subject or brief description of the project, as defined in the Dynamics system.
• POProjectId: The unique identifier for the project in the purchase order system.
• POProjectManager: The name or identifier of the project manager responsible for the project in the purchase order system.
• ProjectGroup: The group or category to which the project belongs, used for classification and reporting.
• ProjectName: The name or title of the project.
• ReleaseStatus: The current release status of the project (e.g., active, released, closed).
