General Ledger Analysis Report – Performance Enhancement

Overview

The General Ledger Analysis Report has been enhanced to improve performance and overall usability. Initially, a performance analysis was conducted to evaluate report load times and visual efficiency. Based on the analysis results, key visuals such as image, Visuals, Opening Balance & Closing Balance related metrics were identified as contributing to higher load times. After optimization, the report performance improved by approximately 61% , resulting in faster rendering and improved responsiveness, and a smoother user experience.

What Changed:

As part of the performance optimization introduced in release 10.0.46, the Auto Date/Time feature was disabled to improve report efficiency and rendering consistency. This change removed automatic date hierarchies, which affected visuals that rely on them. The required date hierarchy fields (Year, Quarter, Month) must be reintroduced manually to restore correct visual behavior.
